Licensed Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist
John Lewis works with adults and older adults where psychological and medical problems come together. This might include brain-based disorders such as traumatic brain injury or stroke. Or it might include anxiety, depression or other psychological problems. As a neuropsychologist, cognitive assessment is sometimes used to help people to understand what they’re capable of and what limitations they possess. Dr. Lewis prefers to work closely with your medical doctor to coordinate your care.
Dr. Lewis has three professional areas of interest. He enjoys evaluations to determine decisional capacity, particularly with older adults. He enjoys work with traumatic brain injury. He also conducts specialized evaluations of pilots for the FAA, to include use of the CogScreen Aeromedical Edition.
Dr. Lewis accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO Plans, Peak Health, Medicare and Cigna insurance.
